These prints are self-portraits for anyone willing to see me. Who I am and what I stand for is not a secret, nor do my identities conflict; rather, all the layers that make up myself blend seamlessly. I carry my family, my religion, and my cultures as I move in this world and when I breathe all of this in, I breathe out myself. Color choices, materials, and imagery are intentional choices that reflect aspects of what make me who I am. I continue to experiment with the subtlety of colors obtained by layering of transparencies, patterns with no beginning or end, and borders that act as a gateway and religious imagery.
